Mr Price disappoints

Mr Price Clothing in Bayside Mall in Tableview.

We went shopping for clothes at 12.15pm. The first time we went to the clothes change room, the staff member allowed my daughter (aged 11, wears no make up) to try on a top (white with dark blue trim) We then went to get a pair of jeans and another top (all white) for her and 2 bras (on sale) for me. The white top is identical to the first but with studs, no trim. The changing room attendant (same staff member with braids, a male) told her she cant try on the top because it is white. I was told, that I may only try on the bra over my clothing and in the corridor of the change room (in front of everyone else)

I asked why we could try on one white top, and not another. The argument was that she’ll get it dirty with makeup. She is 11 and doesn’t wear makeup. They refused to listen to this reasoning. I refuse to try on a bra OVER my clothing and existing bra in full view of everyone. Since when is this store policy ??

I asked to speak to a manager, to which I was directed to a supervisor who first said her name was Jocelyn, then she quickly changed it to Jessica when she saw me taking notes. She walked off, and ignored us. I called her back again, and she refused to identify herself further and refused to give me head office details. She babbled on about the policy with white clothing despite seeing my daughter is too young to wear makeup. She said if we mark the clothing we have to pay for it.

I am livid to say the least. Where in the store are these ridiculous rules posted ?? Why cant I ask for details and names to report ??

I want this investigated and taken further. I would like feedback please ASAP.
