MR PRICE AND ACS DEBT COLLECTORS EXPLOITING STRUGGLING CONSUMERS

Good day

Mr Price handed me over to a company named ACS without letting me know, this company called me saying they were from MR price and i made an arrangement that they deduct 1449.00 which they did on the 25.07.2018 in August they had a system problem and could not deduct the debit order as arranged and upon realizing that they are actually not MR Price i stopped the debit from my Bank and have logged a dispute for my money to be reversed back into my account. I contacted MR PRICE and requested a statement which they did not send i then requested the statement from "ACS" to my surprise balance moved from R4,140.47 to R4,004.28 after after a payment of R1449.00 thet have daily interest which ranges from R65.08 to R70.00 and a lot of charges which i never knew about now my question is does MR PRICE know the companies the hand people over to and are do those debt collection companies comply with the consumer Protection Act, how am i ever going to pay off this account with all this charges. I need to see at least R1,000.00 deducted from my total outstanding balance and Can MR PRICE send me an updated statement with my payment reflecting, i will then make monthly payments to MR PRICE to pay off the account.
