Mr Price account is a **** to milk money from customers

I had an account with Mr Price that I paid in full in 2020 and requested that they close it as I do not want it any more but to my surprise Mr Price is still sending statements every month to pay R39.60 or similar amount and I am not going to pay that as now it is about R89.80, It is for what as I am using the card anymore and I paid the account in full last year August 2020. Or Mr Price just want to blacklist my name? Really this retail stores don't do justice to us consumers at all.
