Mr Price account closure

I was retrenched last year so I paid up my account and signed a document to have the account closed. Monthly charges were being deducted from an advance payment,instead of Mrp telling me I over paid. I went back to the store in July, November and May! Only R183 was left of the advance payment which was put onto a gift card. I spent the better half of the day in store talking to call centre agents who assured me it will be closed. I went back to the store yet again to confirm and received no help yet again. If anyone can advise how to forcefully close an account please advise.
