Mr P unfair interest practices

Mr Price charges interest from Day 1. Not only is interest charged, but also a 'Service Fee'. I haven't used my account for many months and it has been in slight credit - my wife spent R130 on the card in January 2019 and when I got the statement, I have been charged R6.17 for interest and an additional R10.50 service fee for this one transaction, despite paying it the day I received the statement. These charges amount to an equivalent annual interest rate of over 150%. What a racket - I'm sure Mr P makes more on these charges than they do on their merchandise. I have just closed my account with Mr Price.
