Manager making up rules and not following store rules.

I visited Mr Price (Vaal Mall), I was told that I could not drink in store. Fair enough... if there’s a sign advising me of the rules before entering the store. I as a customer should be able to make an informed decision before I am turned around inside the store. When I questioned the manager (Crysna), I was told that no drinking allowed in store due to COVID regulations. I brought the Mr Price rules (posted on the window) to the attention of the manager and these were ignored.

I quote point 12 of Mr Price rules: “Masks must not be taken off for any reason - only lowered when eating or drinking”. This is exactly what I was doing. I was asked to STOP following the Mr Price rules as posted on the store window.

Mr Price: Either you change your rules, or you re-educate your manager on how to follow the store rules as you have set out. I don’t really care which. As a customer, I should be able to make an informed decision on whether or not I choose to enter your store - BEFORE I enter the door.
