Linen Issues

It has become seriously obvious that the Mr Price Group has a serious quality problem. Last month I purchased a complete queen size Duvet set => Duvet, Duvet Cover, 4 pillow cases @ the Mr Price Home Canal Walk Store. Queen size is 230x200 on the Duvet and the Duvet Cover. After having washed the set, excluding the Duvet itself, in cold water and hung up to dry the Duvet cover was short on 2 sides. It nolonger matched the size as given. Having taken the Duvet set back to the store and spoke to the manageress who was very helpful indeed. I showed her the problem even bringing my own measuring tape to prove the point. I found another Queen size set, though not the same colors as first purchased. I took it to the cashier where with the manageress we measured it before leaving the store. The one was short on 2 sides the one I walked out with was short on 1 side only.<br> I purchased this past weekend another Queen size Duvet set from Sheet Street in Bayside. Shall this one also not measure up to the sizes of a Queen size, being short again on 1 side. I hesitate to think what is going to happen after it gets washed through a cold cycle. Very likely shrink again as the others have done.
