Lazy Customer Support Representatives
I sent an email on 27 August, cancelling mu cellphone insurance. I am yet to hear anything. Today, 02 September, I sent a follow up email, and Manjulla Naidoo replies, with NO CONTEXT, just a contact number, email.addresses amd wen address... Is this really how you Mr Price.teach your staff how to respond to emails? Am I suppose to assume I need either phone to cancel, or email to cancel, go onto Monitors web address to cancel my insurance? I am sorry, I took out the insurance with Mr Price, as per the documentation and emails I received. I need you,Mr Price to cancel my contract, and I am not spending anything more, as my insurance was cancelled on the 27 August.

03 Sept 2026, 11:47 On 27 August, I emailed to cancel my account. No one acknowledged or responded. I had to follow up again on 02 September, only to receive an email from Manjulla Naidoo that contained a list of numbers, an email address, and a website link — with no explanation or context.I rep**** asking what I was supposed to do with this information. As a Customer Support Representative, Manjulla should have provided clear instructions or forwarded my cancellation request to the correct department, copying me in for transparency. Instead, I was left confused and had to chase for answers.Only after I questioned the vague email did I learn that I had to cancel directly with Monitor. Even then, the contact number provided was incorrect. I have now had to phone Monitor twice — once holding for 3 minutes, and today holding for over 13 minutes — wasting my time unnecessarily. Why was my initial email ignored? Why was I not guided properly from the start? This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable.I cannot wait until my Mr Price account is fully paid up so that I can cancel it permanently.
