Lay-by release refusal

On the 28 th of September 2025 , my children and I went to Mr Price shop no 121 Mall at Carnival to do a lay-by for December, unfortunately I miss placed my ID but my daughter had an ID with her. Our lay -by amounted to R6169.69,I then payed R900. The time we did a lay-by we were not told that they will need my daughter and her ID when collecting lay -by. On the 1/11/25 I went to Springs mall to pay a lay -by an amount of R2000 was told that when paying final payment I have to go to the store where I initiated a lay-bye. So today the 9 th of December 2025 I went to Mr Price Carnival where I initiated the lay-bye of which I had to pay R3269.69 was told that I won't be able to take out a lay-by because my daughter is not present with her ID. I told them that my daughter was at work and she works in Midrand and that she will be available on Saturday, the problem is the younger ones are going to Limpopo tomorrow morning for December holidays hence I had to take out a lay-by. The ladyby the name Mpumi Nhlapo refused even when I asked them if I could phone my daughter at work so that she can verify her details, she refused. So now my problem is my daughter has to miss her work tomorrow and go to the store is it ok? Does this mean my kids won't be able to dress up for December? Does this mean managers don't have discretion? Why didn't they hook me up with head office maybe I would been helped. My daughter is going to miss her work for this? My husband will miss his work because we have to reschedule all appointments for the layby?I'm very disappointed with Mr Price shop 121mall at Carnival
