Julio saves the day, cleans up after the *********** Cape Gate staff

This is both a complaint and a compliment, 1 star for the complaint and 5 stars for the compliment. Complaint: On Tuesday the 26th I went to Mr Price Cape Gate to get a few clothing items for my children. Some of the items did not fit, and I had to go and exchange them. I was first taken aback when told by the security guard that I would have to leave the items with her, go to the floor to get the ones I was exchanging for, and come back to fetch the ones I was returning. I challenged this, because I needed to make direct comparisons between the different sizes. Besides, I have done exchanges at Mr Price before and have never been prevented from taking the items I'm returning inside. Anyhow, after a long debate with the security guard and the cashier, I was given a plastsic bag to put the items in before I could go onto the shop floor to look for the correct sizes. They are clearly clueless about the negative impacts of plastic on the natural environment. Probably have never heard the phrase "reduce, reuse, recycle". I didn't get the sizes I was looking for, so I asked them to check which other branches did have them in stock. I was told that Stellenbosch does, only to get to Stellenbosch and be told that they should have called first, to ascertain that what the system said was available was indeed available. They wasted my time and energy by not first calling.

The compliment: Julio, the manager at the Stellenbosch branch, went out of his way to get me the shirt I needed for my son's graduation. He spent over an hour in the stock room, going through boxes and boxes of newly-delivered clothes, to find me one size 4-5 shirt. I am really grateful for all the trouble he went to, trying to make up for the incovenience caused by the ***********s at Cape Gate. Now I know which Mr Price branch to go to and which one to avoid at all costs.
