Itc clearance

I closed my account with Mr. Price more than a year, my itc was never updated and therefore reflected negatively. I am unable to apply for any other credit even though the account is closed and paid in full. Why was my itc not updated when I closed the account? I've called head office 7 times and can't get through to anyone who can help, I've emailed and received little to no response. And to top it all off, once you do clear my itc I have to wait an additional 21days before I can do any other credit application! Is anyone going to take responsibility for this? Will anyone give me a reason as to why this was not done?
