Incompetence at Mr Price!!

I bought shoes at Mr Price Sandton City on 27/8/2019 and wore them the following day, only to realize that the heel was broken. Yesterday, I tried to return/exchange them at Mr Price Auckland Park as that is where I am based and they refused to exchange the shoes and said I would have to return them where I bought them as it was not their damage but it was the other store’s damage. Excuse me?! So if I had bought these shoes in a different province, I would have had to drive back to that province to return the shoes?

I have never experienced such nonsense in my entire life! I have returned/exchanged purchases at different stores and never experienced such incompetence. I am highly disappointed and disgusting by this because I’ve been inconvenienced TWICE by the same store. First, they sold me damaged shoes, then they want me to go back to the store that I bought them after queuing up and wasting my time!
