Inaccurante credit balances online

Very frustrating to be able to purchase items online and when you come to checkout and try to use your account facility the "credit available" amount is inaccurate without our knowledge. I could then place the order and choose the "pay in store" option. Went to the store with my card and they gave me an available balance completely different to the one online.
