Horrible service by MrpMoney

After being a loyal client of MrPrice for nearly 10 year, I am done with their pathetic client service. Never before have I not paid my instalments. They only reminded me once, afterwards I requested that I receive a statement via Email so that I am up to date.

After not receiving any electronic statement, as previously requested, someone once again called me on 16 November an requested me to pay my outstanding instalment of R80. I once again asked to please send me electronic statements, but promised to make the payment as I don’t like owing money. The next morning I still haven’t received any statement and because I wasn’t aware of my total outstanding balance, I decided to make a payment of R200, which is R120 more than the instalment requested.

That same afternoon, I received a message which stated that despite previous SMSes, I have failed to pay my account and that I should pay to prevent further action. This already made me feel like a thieve because I already paid R200. Just after that SMS, a Mr Nhlakanipho Mthethwa phoned me and blatantly accused me of going against my word and that I refuse to pay my outstanding balances. I was now starting to feel like a ******** despite already paying them. I once again requested a statement.

After finally receiving a statement, I found that the R200 I paid via EFT doesn’t reflect on their statement. After sending Mr Mthethwa my proof of payment for the R200 and telling him how bitterly disappointed I am with their service, he just rep**** that payment will reflect only after 3 working days. This I understand, but what I don’t understand is why would they keep calling me and accusing me of not paying my account, when they know an EFT can take 3 working days to reflect??? And treating me like I am some ********, only because I don’t receive my Statements as I've requested numerous time.

Just after finally receiving my statement, I saw that the outstanding amount on the statement were R416.30. I made the calculation that after I paid the R200, that I still owe them R216.30. I then immediately continued and paid my total outstanding balance and once again sent my proof of payment to Mr Mthethwa, from whom I up to now haven’t received any apology for the accusations against me.

Just now, 22 November, I received another electronic statement, stating that I am still R416.30 outstanding.

I am just fed-up with their horrible service and for treating me like I am a ********.

At the first opportunity, I will go into a Mr Price store and errantly stop my account. I will walk out of the shop and never put another foot into a Mr Price store!!!
