Horrible Customer Service

We visited Mr. price home Carswald branch yesterday found a decorative silver bowl for R299. It was defective. My Husband and I then asked a guy on the floor named Grahame to verify availability in the store.We waited while he searched.He returned to say there is non left. We asked that he check with other branches.We waited another while till he returned to say Sandton has 7 and Greenstone has a few.We advised him Sandton is our closest he specifically said we may go to Sandton and get the item.To our shock we arrived at Sandton only to be told that there is 0 on stock and Grahame never called them to make sure. The supervisor,manager and guy on the floor in Sandton went through boxes in their stock room to no avail.What's upsetting is that when sandton manager put the Carswald Manager Sophie and Grahame on the line,Grahame chose to lie and denied his assurance to us that we can go ahead to Sandton. As we speak Sandton manager is the one who offered to hunt the item down next week and deliver it herself. No effort was made by Carswald management except for saying \sorry"even after Sandton Manager asked them to rectify this.There was no sense of responsibility from Grahame pathetic"""
