********** issuing of vouchers

In April 2019 I was given a gift voucher that was purchased in the Mr Price Home Galleria store. Upon trying to use the voucher I was told that there are no funds in the voucher. The voucher number on the card and on the receipt are two different numbers. Both those vouchers have R0.00. Upon investigation, the voucher number on the card had R300 loaded on and was used at the same Galleria store. The voucher number on the receipt had a R1000 loaded on 08/04/2019 after which R2000 was loaded on 21/10/2019. The entire R3000 was used at the Mall of Africa in November 2019. There seems to be some ********** activity going on in your stores when it comes to purchasing vouchers. It is really an embarrassment to walk into the store with a voucher that was given to me as a gift only to find out that it has no funds. The family member who gave me the voucher is also very upset at the way in which this occurred. An investigation needs to occur to understand how this is possible and how employees are **********ly issuing vouchers to customers. This is not acceptable. This means that in future we cannot trust loading funds into a voucher as clearly there is no honesty and integrity in Mr Price
