***** Purchase on my account
Good day
I have had Mr Price account for more than a decade now. And this morning i got a shock of my life to see tbe balance on my acvount that i dont know of.
On the 19th of June i visited Mr Price Maponya mall and purchased boots for R250, then made a payment at Mr Price home Maponya for R150. Now to my suprise i see a stament saying there was a purchase of R4201 made from my account, how? Thats what i need to know because on this day i was at work and my card is with me. From my own understanding. I know that a person cant make a purchase without a card at MRP nor make a payment either.
I think this is an instore thing. Someone intore needs to explain this. I never even lost my id. The id i have is my first ever id.

My name is Selina Refilwe Ngcangca Id No ***. I have had Mr Price account for more than a decade now. But this is such a dissapointment i have come accross. My account was de*****ed on your presence. What happened to POPI Act. So you guys are giving away our information to ********** and ******* that tbinks they can get away with it. And i suspect that this is an inside job.
I never lost my Id nor store card. On the 19th of June i visited MR PRICE Clothing in Maponya Mall and purchased boots for R250. 02. And made a payment at Mr Price home Maponya for R150. On the 22nd June. I received a statement that i am owing R488. 00. The very same day the statement was emailed to me. The incident of the ffaud happenend on my account which R4201 was using from my account which i dont know of. On this day i was at work the whole day. On the 26th of July i called in the Call Centre. The lady who assisted me refused to tell me the name of the store where this purchase was made and told me it doesnt matter since i am claiming i am not the one who spent this money. I should lodge a complain. Why cant i be given the name of the store. Something is suspicious here and i suspect the staff of Mr Price. These are not assumptions. So is this how customers are been treated in your industry. Our information is not protected. You guys are not acting according to the POPI act. Im so dissapointed. Even thinking of closing this account after paying the Balance of R488 that i know of. I am not liable for this R4201. Please settle this matter asap. I need answeres asap.
I have attched both the slips of my Purchase of the 19th and the payment that i made, my store card both front and back, my id cooy, affidavit, and the statement i was sent that i owe R488. Also please advise how am i going to make my payment for july since my card has been blocked. And again i am suprised jow this purchase was done without an id or card because even the payment, Mr Price never assist to even make a payment without id.
