Do not purchase Mr price gift vouchers as gifts, you might as well give the person nothing in a envelope

In December 2019 I received a Mr Price gift card as a gift. In March 2020 I decided to use the giftcard at Mr Price Sport to my amazement when I got to the teller they said the money has been used. I gave Mr Price call centre a call and they followed up, apparently someone has used the voucher in January doing a online payment along with 5 other vouchers. The call centre agent said she would follow up and the regional manager would call me on what they going to do about it impacting me, to this day I have not received any communication from them and this is almost 3 months later. Really disgusting and frustrating, poor service.
