Do not make an account with Mr Price

I will never use Mr Price ever again. Years back I made use of a clothing account, it was always paid monthly. So I was never behind. Unfortunately I had to go under debt review. Earlier this year Debt rescue finished paying Mr Price in February 2025. It's June 2025, Deb Rescue send me an email that was sent by Mr Price that I must still pay R53.12, Debt Rescue couldn't pay it for me because the account was already closed

If it was closed, how is there still outstanding? Anyway the next day I paid that money and emailed the proof of payment. The day after I get an email that I owe Mr Price R73? I queried it and no response, they phoned me now and said I must pay the R73, when I asked him about the money I already paid, how is it that it's now R20 more overnight? Keep in mind that in the email it said I until 17/07/2025 to pay the R53? So how does it go up overnight? This is blatant ***** and abuse of a consumer. This guy couldn't give me an answer, said I must enquire and he'll send me the statement. That's it. I will NEVER buy anything from Mr Price ever again. I will not support them in any form
