On the 28th November I went into the Mr price store in Cape Town CBD to purchase a chino pants. While standing in the line to pay got approached by one of the staff to pay at their store's machine. I paid off for my item jst after I have entered my bank pin and completed the transaction the machine disconnected from the store's wifi. Immediately my bank notification went off my phone to confirm the Transaction went through. The staff members who was assisting me was confused spoke to the store manager who also was confused ad to whats going. I questioned them as to what is the problem no one could answer me. The manager ended up telling me i can't get my pants which I have paid for as the transaction is no showing on their system. Shr never seemed to care about the bank notification which I showed instead she told me she can't do anything at that moment she could only call their bank the following day. I was furious and ended up insisting she calls in their bank as I needed to know whats next now. In a nutshell i went out of the store that day without my pants and my money gone. On the 29th got a call from the manager who confirmed that the payment has gon through and its reflecting on their system BUT I still can't get my money back or even the pants as she is waiting on head office to tell her what to do next. I was promised a call back the very same day for feedback up until today im still waiting.. Do not have my money back nor the item i paid for. Im extremely disappointed withthe service, the treatment and the dishonesty I have received.. At the end of the day Mr price owes me money not the other way around. Had it been me owing Mr price money I would have been receiving endless calls from debt collectors noand my credit rating being impacted straight away.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK FROM MR PRICE
Trust you are well.
Please advise as to which Mr Price branch in Cape Town CBD was it.
Kind Regards,
Mr Price
