CPA act was not followed

Horrible Service. I went to Mr Price Town Center in Mitchells plain. I saw this shoes(pumps) with a red sticker and the shoes were marked off for R30. I proceeded to buy two pairs because it was cheap. When i got to the tills the cashier told me that the item was not marked down and was infact R100. I informed the cashier and this is according to the Consumer Protection Act, the price i see is the price i should pay. According to the CPA 68 of 2008 the marketing on the item was misleading, as i customer i am suppose to get the item for free and the other items i should be getting it for the marked off price i saw.

I could see the staff was not clued up on tho legislation, they when back and forth with me. I ended up leaving one pair of shoes because they said it was a pricing mistake
