Complaint: ******** Search, Defamation and Harassment

Treatment my 8-months pregnant wife and I received at the Mr. Price Kids store at Carnival Mall on March 30, 2025 Afternoon. While shopping, the store manager, Cindy, confronted my wife, accusing her of theft and hiding items under her clothing. Cindy claimed that a staff member had witnessed this, but when I questioned her cer*****y, she failed to provide any evidence. Despite my reservations, my wife, feeling embarrassed and intimidated, agreed to be searched. She was subjected to a humiliating search, forced to stand with her legs spread apart. Moments later, a staff member intervened, revealing that my wife was mistakenly identified. This ordeal caused my wife significant emotional distress, triggering tears and anxiety. As her husband, witnessing this traumatic experience was equally disturbing. I hold Mr. Price Kids and its management responsible for: 1. ******** search: Conducting a search without probable cause or evidence. 2. Defamation: Falsely accusing my wife of theft, damaging her reputation. 3. Harassment: Subjecting my wife to emotional distress, humiliation, and anxiety.
