Complaint against Mr Price - Insurance policy not authorised

I opened an account with Mr Price and have been paying it monthly, but I noticed that my balance has not been decreasing. When I enquired, I was told that I have policies linked to my account costing R200 in total. I was never informed about these policies or gave consent for them.

When I asked for the policies to be removed, I was told to contact the insurance department. I tried calling but could not get through. I even went to Mr Price at Vincent Park in East London, and they also tried but were unable to reach the department.

Due to this, I decided not to make my payment last month. When Mr Price called me, I explained that I will only resume payments once the insurance department contacts me and resolves this matter.
