Closing of an account

Worst customer service ever, never would I have thought that I would see a private organization become just as ******* as the government. On the 10 August 2021 I went into mr price clothing at east rand mall to close my account, where a lady assisted me, she gave me a form to fill in that she would mail to their account's department to close the account, I have also made I payment to bring the account up to date with R0 balance. A week later I went back to the store to check my account status. I was told that the account was still active and that a mr price sim card was activated on my account and airtime was being brought online on my account. I was told to go to the police to make an affidavit and come back to the store, which I did, I have also opened a case of ***** against mr price company. The next day I went back to ask why I was not added to the e mail that was send to their accounts department with the affidavit as I requested, whereby I received no help from the staff in the store, and who continued to laugh at me. A week later I got an e mail from their accounts department after concluding their so called investigation, just telling me info I already know, and it is clear that they have not even spend 1 minute investigating my case, meanwhile my account that was supposed to be closed is being used **********ly. Worst company and service ever. This case will go to court and mr price will be sued.
