Change of Account payment period

I have a Mr Price money account and I have requested for them to change it to a 6months and not the 12months payment structure. I was then advised that the account needed to be paid off before I request this. Now that the account is paid off, I sent a request regarding this and all of a sudden I can not change this and would need to close the account and reopen it.<br> <br> my question is where is the logic in this? and why can I now not do it? Honestly think that this is just a way to keep one in a certain payment structure that earns them more interest. (my opinion anyway) but this is just bad service at its best.<br> <br>
