Card machine

On the 3rd of September 2020 I made i purchase at Mr Price Mega City, of which I received an SMS saying money out. And they told me that it's not in their system. However I should bring a bank statement if no reversal is made. I did so, and they telling me to wait. How long should I wait?? I want my money back..
