Bad service delivery and account challenges

I would like to bring attention to a serious issue I am experiencing with Mr Price and their debt collection partner, Associated Credit Specialist (ACS). My account was handed over to ACS, but I have since paid the outstanding balance directly at a Mr Price store. The store confirmed that the account is fully paid, but they cannot close it on their side and advised that only the debt collector can do so.

However, ACS is completely unreachable. They do not answer their phones, and we have attempted to contact them multiple times with no success. This has left my account unresolved, despite being fully paid. I am extremely unhappy with this process and want to make others aware of the challenges of dealing with Mr Price and their debt collection partner. No customer should struggle this much after settling their debt.
