Bad seevice

I put in a lay-bye at Mrprice Canal Walk, a pair of boots which were at the time the last pair on the floor without a price, struggled and got staff to assist by searching the item and the lay-bye was processed. Before same could expire I went to pay in the balance in December 2022 to get my pair of boots and waited at the tills for about 45minutes until i complained and asked the shop assistant what the delay is about. They called the crew member that is said to be attending to same and came back only to tell me my parcel was not in the box as referenced on my receipt and told me to get a refund. I bluntly told the lady that was not as per our agreement with Mrprice. I lay-by, you keep my stuff, I pay the balance and get my stuff not a refund. The lady then told me she was going to do the search and requested for my details which I gave also advising same can be couriered to my nearest Mrprice and in this case Cape gate. Can Mrprice advise when am I getting my pair of boots as to date I await a call to advise me to collect or that it has been delivered. Asa advised instore I want no refund but the pair of boots I put down on laybye. I'm was actually surprised as same was the case with 2other ladies we waited with for our parcels. I await urgent attendance to this
