Bad quality of clothing for children

I bought a black pair of pants for my 9 month old daughter, took it home and washed it. About a week later, I decided to put the pants on my daughter for creche, when I got home that night, I proceeded to undress her for her bath when I notice that her legs and baby grower was pitch black, I was upset but thought that maybe I just needed to give it a few more washes. Anyway, I machined washed the pants 6 times and my grandmother washed it by hand 3 times. Thinking that it should be enough, I put the pants on my daughter for creche again, I was absolutely horrified when I took the pants off for her bath that night to discover that her legs and baby grower again was pitch black. I cannot believe that the quality of clothing for babies is that bad, the dye is toxic enough and can be harmful to the children. I have to now throw the pants away as I will not allow her to wear them again, not to mention that the baby growers are also destroyed as I cannot get the dye out of the either. MONEY WASTED.
