Bad employee treatment (especially infront of customer!)

Yesterday I went to Mr Price Forest Hill City in Centurion to collect an item that I bought online. The cashier was helping me could not find the item in the drawers and asked the manager (or teamleader) for assistance. And the rudeness that the manager spewed at her was appalling! The cashier is pregnant so the manager told her that she should start her unpaid leave tomorrow, and that the should not return to the shop tomorrow because she was utterly useless. The manager looked for the item and found it and then said to the cashier... "You were looking for your baby in here". All this in full view of me - the customer!!!! This is no way for an employee to be treated at work! Especially a pregnant one for that matter. If this happens infront of customers - one can only imagine what happens when there are no customers!
