Bad customer service 😡

I was exchanging a gift as the size was not a right size now I didn’t not have a slip as it is a gift, I was told I can’t exchange… I mean how is this even possible it’s not like I am asking for refund. I called head office the attitude I got from that lady telling me she can’t help me without any explanation
