Bad customer service
To whom this may concern. So today on the 7 may 2024. I went to mrprice kids in mitchells plain promenade. So.my mom who is a account customer bought my son a pair of takkies worth r219.99. She bought in in mrprice plaza. So as she is almost a 60yr old I live a taxi away she asked a lady if I can return the shoe for the right size and the lady told here it won't be a problem as I know only the account holder can use their card and Noone else because it's *****. So me.being an ex employee of mrprice I know that when a customer wants to exchange and doesn't have their account card but want a item and have the slip u can speak to manager and they can help u just to exchange because u don't want the cash or a gift card u just wanted a different size. I asked for the manager and she spoke in her language and just shook her head without even noticing me there as the customer. I told her I know u can assist but because u see me for me u won't and I left and said I will report u. U can atleast be more professional about it I asked the cashier whats the name of ur manager as she the manager stood there still not addressing me. She hesitated and said bulelwa I don't even know if that is the correct name. I will not return to that store ever again I would rather go to canalwalk or century city. It was an honest mistake from my mother's side for the size I do understand that the account holder needs to do the exchange but attitude. I was just rejected as if I wanted something for free. My child.was.in need of that shoe and I just wanted a size down thats all at the same price. That manager should be sent for training how-to handle customers. I never treated any customer different nomatter the color of the skin or their language. And mind u she the manager was just standing in the corner not even addressing me and saying. Sorry mam I don't know how other stores do it but I'm not allowed. I would have been happy with a simple answer like that.
