Bad Client service

Today I shopped at the n1 city store. Upon reaching the till to pay for my item and exchange the other one, I informed the cashier that im not sure if I have the slip or whether I requested canal walk to mail me one. He logged on and tried numerous times to search for my docket number which he was not able to retrieve as some idiot was trying to play a trick on the cashier. At first I assumed it was funny but after the cashier tried numerous times it beame irritating as it wasn't funny anymore. Every tomr he scannned my barcode of my card and tried typing in the block, a message popped up for him to please answer his phone. I then requested to see the manager as this was beyond abnormal but also wasting my time. The cashier showed a few of his colleagues. The manager them approached the desk and he himself did not believe the cashier until the rest ofb the colleagues confirmed they also saw it. I assume he thought we were all going crazy.. the manager then advised the cashier to call helpdesk the next day to advise them of what had transpired. I dont understand why a call could not be made immediately to give me peace of mind. I then proceeded to exit the store and the security guard stops me to check my items. I have never been stopped at this store before. My slip reads as follows - 1 item of 89.99 returned and 1 item of 89.99 taken and another purchased of 45.99. The guard insists that I didnt pay for the one item. The more I explain the more he insists I didnt pay. It continued for a while and he insists that I cant leave the shop cause technically I stole the item. My blood pressure rose at that point and I started cursing. Never in my life have I ever been embarrassed this way infront of people. I could feel how wet my body was of the perspiration. He eventually called another staff member to check the docket and she confirms that it is correct. The guy still insists that I didnt pay. Eventually I hear the manager say "its not your day today" and he approached the door to explain to this guard that the docket is correct. All this time I stood embarrassed, treated like a *****. I spend such a lot at this store. To be treated like this today was just the last straw. I understand that this security was doing his job to check my bags but how in heavens name do you put someone so dom at the door. Your excuse is probably his new. He helped out, he wasn't trained. Well then let him guard the flippen stock room door instead of embarrassing clients. No amount of im sorry will make me feel better and take away the embarrassment I felt. The stares I received for a mistake that could have been avoided had this idiot known what he was doing. You must be glad my hubby wasn't with cause he would have lost his marbles.
