Annoying Telemarketing
You guys should really work on your marketing strategy and skills.
An agent contacted me this morning and went on and on and on and on about 2 benefits I never took up upon activating my MRP Account.
I allowed her to explain because I didn't want to be rude... But thereafter, I politely declined and provided a valid reason for declining.
However, even after saying "NO THANK YOU" for almost 5 times, she continued to almost force me into ACCEPTING. And then she just hangs up because she didn't get what she wanted. It's unprofessional - you should have the same energy you started the call with when it ends, regardless of what the outcome is.
I answered the call in good faith and was kind enough and happy to hear her out but by the end of the call, she had me extremely annoyed and irritated. Way to ruin someone's morning.
And this is exactly how my granny was forced into activating unnecessary benefits on her account. She's a pensioner and paying a monthly installment should suffice.
I on the other hand am not an elderly lady easy to persuade and manipulate.
As a new customer, just thought I'd mention it - find a different manner or just stop at the first "NO THANK YOU"
We find this to be unacceptable and we will be in contact with you shortly with assistance in resolving this issue.
Kind Regards
Mr Price
