********* and dishonest behaviour

Dishonest and ********* behaviour from staff at Mr Price Clearwater Mall. Went to the MRP store on Sunday around 12. On the window display they had a black pleated skirt with a red sign below the skirt that read R119. I went inside the store to go look for this skirt l could not find it in the floor. The pleated skirts were priced at R199 asked one on the staff members to assist me in finding the skirt displayed at front. She could not find the skirt priced at R119 she asked her colleagues one mentioned that she should check at the till. The skirts priced R199 could be on promotion. She did exactly that. She came back to told me the item on display was priced incorrectly and that it was an error on their side. She then proceeded to say she will call her supervisor Tamara.

After a while her supervisor Tamara came said to me the item on promotion is out of stock. I asked to be given the item on display seeing there no items left on the floor. She then changed her story and said the price on display was in fact not for that skirt it was for another skirt that was displayed next to the skirt that l wanted. Which did not make sense l queried why the price was not put under the relevant item their conduct amounts to false advertising and is misleading. She tried to spin all sorts of stories she then proceeded to say we should go back to display window so she can explain. When we get there they have no removed that price and have put a different sign where the price was. I asked why did they sneakily remove the sign behind my back whilst we were still resolving the matter. Why is she taking me back to window display knowing that she has changed the sign. The price was not place under the item she claimed it was for, it was completely removed from the window display. She **** said the item was on sale when in fact the lady that assisted me before confirmed it was priced incorrectly. I advised that I am not satisfied with how she is handling this matter. She followed me around the store kept on apologising. She even went as far as offering me a different skirt to “remedy the situation” l declined her offer.
