An exercise in how to be consumer un-friendly

I ordered some items on Mr P online shopping. All was processed and then 3 days later I received an email to state that the pants (for the matching PJ set I ordered) were not available and I would be sent a refund voucher. I emailed the consultant back (to her personal email) to state that as they were unable to provide me with the ordered item (which is pretty poor in the first place, I mean why process my order then?) I did not want a voucher and insisted on a full refund. No reply. Followed up. No reply. Sent a firm email saying if she did not reply I would escalate the claim. Finally got a reply but she failed to answer my query about the refund and just told me that the matching top (for the non-existent PJ bottoms) could be returned in store.

I am at a loss. How pathetic!! If you stuff up an order and cannot give a cusotmer what she ordered and paid for, surely the logical and legally correct response is a refund? I often order online and no other retailer treats its customers this badly. Never again Mr P.

And don't think you have heard the end of me. I will not rest until you pay me back the money
