All information not provided in selling data deal

I have a prepaid number with Vodacom since 1996, registered and Rica'd in my name. Earlier this week I received a call from Mr.Price Money offering me data on my Vodacom number. They advised that I will receive 1GB of data per month for 12 months which will cost me in effect R79 per month. They said data will just be added to my number every month by Vodacom and MrPrice will add the 12 months fees for data to my account once off.

I have received a sms from Vodacom welcoming me to the 1GB 24 month TopUp. I contacted customercare on 111 to enquire what this is all about because I never signed up for any 24 month data contract. I spoke to a consultant at Vodacom. He told me that he cannot assist me because my number that I've had since 1996 doesn't belong to me and that it belongs to MrPrice. I asked him how it is possible that my number now suddenly belongs to MrPrice. I never gave anybody permission for any change of ownership. I never agreed to something like this. How can MrPrice now suddenly register my number in their name. They have even changed my price plan. I'm paying double for my calls than before.

I was never informed by MrPrice that this is going to affect my voice price plan and that my number will now be registered in their name. I was only offered the data deal. They therefor withheld important information from me. I was also registered for some call saver deal which I was never advised off and never agreed to.

I tried several times to phone MrPrice Money. Everytime I spoke to a consultant I was told to hold on and then my call was dropped/cutoff.

I eventually manage to speak to a consultant at MrPrice that advised I will be contacted by a Supervisor and I'm also still waiting for that call.

I therefor submit that MrPrice sold me this data contract without providing me with all the information relevant in concluding a legal contract. Some information was withheld from me in selling me this deal. I request you to kindly restore my number back in my name and on the price plan I was previously. I do not want this data deal anymore and it must be cancelled with immediate effect.
