ADVERTISING GOODS BUT DONT UNPACK THE PRODUCTS

Mr Price website advertises a mens shoe. I checked on their site and it reflected over 20 pairs in the size required. I called the call center on 02 December to confirm if the store (Canal Walk) still had availability. The agent confirmed they still had stock. I then went to the store and was told that the stock had not been unpacked yet and it was in a store room (not on the premises). When asked why it was advertised, I was told "they do that". The sales person took my details and said he would contact the Tyger Valley branch for them to transfer to canal walk. This was last Friday. My son went to the store on Tuesday, no stock unpacked. I went to the store on Wednesday and was told he would follow up but needed my name and number again. Quite disturbing that my number had already been misplaced. He called me about 20 minutes later and advised that Tygervalley would transfer the shoe "in this week still". I have not heard from him since. I tried calling the number he called from several times today, no answer. I called the call center and the agent tried to get hold of the store manager and assistant manager several times to no avail. She took my details and said she would have them contact me. This is very unprofessional of a reputable company such as this. How do you advertise with no stock, false adverstising? I drove there 3 times and I am getting the run around. I have been more than patient and accomodating to the staff, the waiting to unpack but this is beyond ridiculous. Get your act together.
