Account still active. Close it

I sent an email the 3/4/21 to close my account as I paid in full and don’t need the account and too date no response. On the 5th I went to mr price in rosebank and filled in the form to close the account and my account is still active and instead I have to pay small amounts twice now.

When will this account be closed. Website says turn around time on closing a account +- 24hrs
