Account in arrears

My Mr. Price account was handed over to the st John attorneys. I went to Mr price to pay off the account and close it , I was told that I should call the attorneys to make arrangements but the number does not go through , I called Mr price accounts and they told me that unfortunately it's the only number they have, I am very angry because I want to pay asap and fix my credit score.
