ACCOUNT ACTIVATION

Good day I would like to express my disgust in MR PRICE Firstly - My application for financial assistance is declined fine – told to make a payment – made the payment 8/6/2020 R1830.24 Went to the shop MR PRICE CANAL WALK Saturday spent about +-8minutes standing in a line to get into the store (No problem- social distance) I shop for about under an hour looking around filling my basket the store is full of people. I then stand in another line that now snakes around the store get to the till the cashier does her thing and then tells me I have NO CREDIT – A lovely lady Ntabile – assist me she calls the accounts department – I speak to a guys who tells me If I can produce my ID(which I don’t have on me) he will reactivate my credit – I agree go to my car get the ID stand in another line as the security wont allow my into the store (they work with number 3+ people has already walked out and she still won’t allow me in – I’m right in front) another +5 minutes wasted I go back to this lady who then contacts the accounts department again – At this stage I get the honor of speaking to a completely insensitive person (this guy should not be in customer service) who now want me to produce a letter from my company stating that I am still employed before he will reactivate my credit – I profusely disagree with him as this is not the information I was first given – He informs me that I was given the incorrect information from the previous person I spoke to – I’m now livid and request to speak to his manager he puts my through to Mandy who states that my account is up-to-date but the reactivation will not happen and is only possible through the lift of the TAG made by the claims department. Ive now wasted close to 2hrs of my day and left the store without any shopping. Please advise who is responsible for this and who did not do their work as my time cannot be replaced and I would love to know how you intend to replace the time I’ve lost and who will be taking full responsibility for this matter
