Acc. Canceled but insurances keep charging!!

I had an account with MrP and was a good paying customer from beginning to end. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I willingly canceled my account in July. I paid EVERYTHING I owed them and the account was successfully closed by July 25th 2023.

The following month I received an invoice for R121. Upon asking, I was told it was for the insurances. Mind you, I did not want them but was told they are COMPULSARY. Anyway, I was very displeased because no one had informed me about canceling the insurances separately. After all, they where for the main account. Now that I have no acc with them, OBVIOUSLY I don't need them.

I called them and I was asked to send an email to their *** email which I did on 18 Aug. Sep, I receive another statement now of R290. What ******* is this MRP? CANCEL THIS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT PLEASE! *** I will not pay for an insurance I never needed.
