<p>I have an agreement which I don't understand and find it very frustrating and stressfull. I entered into an agreement with a supposed to be a good samaritan person and only found that was a wolf in a sheepskin.</p> <p>As an unemployed person who desperately need a job I searched for someone who would help to keep my clean on credit bereaus and entered into an agreement with someon who is robing bluntly,</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 17 January 2017 I asked Mr Mafa John Mashinini to get me a job at "Tube City" where he is working after my brother-in-law's friend introduced me to him as someone who will assist me with my unemployement problem, Mr Mashinini agreed to get me a job on condition I agreed and paid a bribe money of R10 000.00. I had to plea with Mr Mashinini that I am so desperate and would pay that money if I had it even though I knew that buying employement is *******ion but I had no option as I am loosing everything I have worked hard for. I pleaded with Mr Mashinini to allow me to tell him the story of my life so he can understand my sistuation and come to some sort of agreement to which he agreed. I told Mr Mashinini that my house bond repayment wasn't paid for some months and my vehicle installment as well. I further told him that I wanted to take back my vehicle back to the bank which financed me and they told me that they were going to precess a repossess procedure which wasn't good for me. I told him that I don't have money to buy school uniform for my children as it was January and schools had just re-opened. I went on and on on with my sad story to Mr Mashinini so he can see the reason to help me as he seemed a very good and understanding person to me. After I told him how desperate I was he then told me his divorce story and agreed to help me with the reduced amount of R5000.00 to which I pleaded asked him to please understand and do away with bribe money. After a lengthy discussion with him then agreed to go and discuss with HR personnel from Tubecity where he works as the supretendent to give me 1 of the vacant positions to me on condition that I agree to sell my 2013 JEEP COMPASS to him as the installment takeover since I wasn't in the position to pay anymore, I must do my best to get atleadt R2500.00 for the HR personnel to which I only managed to pay him only R1000.00. He further told me that I was lucky because he was in the process of buying a car for himself and that I have this problem he will take it and make it easy for me. Mr Mashinini further promised me that by end of January 2017 I would be working at Tubecity and he will make sure of that as he has a lot of influence on who shold be hired for which position because of his position at Tubecity. I then agreed because of the beauty of his offer as it was very difficult for me at the time. After we agreed on the terms he further offered me his vehicle to use while I getting my finance ikssues sorted out and would only discuss the buying of that vehicle from him once when the financial pressure has subsided. I then agreed to buy his vehicle as he was going to make sure that I get a job from Tubecity where is working. So the basis of our agreement is for him to get me an employement from Tubecity.</p> <p>We then put our agreement into practice where we went to the VANDERBIJLPARK police station took affidavits. The policer helped us to put right waords in our statements and further said each of us (me and Mr Mashinini) should write separate statement where he will sign and we make copies of our statements and he'll certify them and we swap the certified copies while we keep our originals to which we deed. In the statements we stated that I will buy Mr Mashinini's vehicle when I am financially comfortable which meant after he has gotten me a job from Tubecity and we did not mention that he was going to get me a job as we knew that was *******ion. We also mentioned in the statement that Mr Mashinini will pay R6000.00 every month until all the remaining instalement were paid where we will the make a change of ownership to Mr Mashinini once when the bank issues a title of ownership to me. Now here is the frustration about this whole agreement:</p> <p>1. Mr Mashinini hasn't got me a job at Tubecity to date. This is the foundation of our agreement</p> <p>2. Mr Mashinini Has only made one payment towards the installment of the vehicle since January 2017 and made a paument of R5000.00 and not R6000.00 as agreed</p> <p>3. I had found that the vehicle that Mr Mashinini gave is not his car but someone else's</p> <p> </p> <p>When I went back to him to ask about the job he's just ignoring me and does not answer me at all. I then wanted out of our agreement and he's now telling me that I should pay him the money he had spent on the vehicle to put it in good shape. Well Mr Mashinini's claim to me is unfounded because the things he is saying he did are unknown to me. I went ot the police station to open a case of theft with false pretence against Mr Mashinini and the police officers told to me to open a civil case as we had a agreement. I went to civil claims and I was told that because of the value of my vehicle they won't be able to mediate between me and Mashinini. They told me that I must get a lawyer to help me to which I told them that I an unemployed and would not afford a lawyer's services and the told me to go to legal aid bord. Legal aid board told that because of the value of the value of the vehicle they won't be able to help as they only help the needy people. Now I am stuck with anger and frustration of not knowing who can help me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am writing to ask for help and avoid violence and taking the law into my hands. I don't want to see myself having to fight physically with Mr Mashinini over something that can be resolved with talks. As we speak we don't even know ehere will that fight end, maybe someone will have serious or permanent injuries or even dead over such things. All I ask is Help with the lawyer's services. I am unemploued and would never afford any lawyer at the moment</p>
