Extremely Unprofessional and Unreliable Service

Our experience with Mr. Fit Fix Guy has been frustrating and disappointing due to repeated delays, excuses, and failure to complete the agreed-upon work.

Initially, we booked him for Monday, 25th February, but due to a delay in payment, we rescheduled to Friday, 28th February, at 9 AM. On that day, he informed us of a scheduling mix-up on his end and assured us he would arrive by 11 AM. However, he only arrived at 3:15 PM without tools making it impossible to start any work.

We rescheduled again for Monday, 3rd March, at 9 AM. I even sent a reminder the day before, and he confirmed his attendance. Yet, on Monday morning, he called at 9:20 AM, saying he was running late and would arrive at 10:30 AM. Shortly after, he called again, stating another delay and that he would be there in 15 minutes. He finally arrived at 11 AM, worked on only two doors, and left at 11:50 AM, taking his tools and claiming he needed to buy boards and plumbing materials. He promised to return by 12:30 PM but never did.

On 6th March, he arrived at 1 PM with a worker, who spent the entire day removing just one door, installing two small pieces of skirting, and then sitting on the floor doing nothing for over 3.5 hours. At 4:28 PM, I messaged Dimitri to inform him that no drilling or work was being done by the guy he left in office. When he arrived, he complained about being tired. I suggested they return on Friday, 7th March.

When he returned, he did some drilling, but the frames were *****ed. When I pointed this out, he assured me it would be fixed. He then demanded an additional R1,500 from the remaining balance, he asked me to speak to Boudine (my boss) when i spoke to her we both agreed that payment will be done once the job is complete.

I made it clear that full payment would only be made once the job was properly completed. He was supposed to return at 3:30 PM on 10th March Monday to finish the work but never showed up yet still demanded payment.

This level of unprofessionalism and failure to deliver is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend his services to anyone.
