Mr Cheap = Added Move Stress

If you're looking for added stress to an already stressful move, these are your guys.

They were contracted to help my elderly parents move house and the lead up was great - communication, sharing of inventory list, everything was going smoothly until the day of the move.

They were 2 hours late and no one called my father to let them know of the delay - he had to keep calling them and went as far as sending him the driver's number to call for follow-ups because they couldn't be bothered. Every time we called, they kept saying they were 20 minutes away, 7 minutes aways, 3 minutes away - TWO HOURS later and with a car of frozen food defrosting, they finally pitched up.

The moving team had no idea of the items being moved and my parents had to reiterate what was agreed on. Not to mention, they thought it was hilarious when we gave them instruction with smug smirks on their faces. The ultimate? I had to ask them multiple (not once, not twice - MULTIPLE) times to wear masks around my 70 year old parents and every time I looked, their masks were off again.

This excuse of a business was recommended to us, and I will ensure that this is where the recommendations end. Unprofessional, unreliable and completely disrespectful.
