Agent has a bad attitude

I hired some cutlery and crockery from MPR Hiring for my mom's 50th birthday. I returned the hired stuff a few days later. My fiancé returned them on my behalf and was helped by an agent called Thando. It was never discussed with me that the deposit would be paid back through my bank account. When I called Thando to find out about this she was curt and didn't explain thoroughly how this worked. Nonetheless I let it go and waited for the money to be deposited into my account. Two weeks later I called MPR and inquired about my deposit and was told I would get it by Saturday 16 December. I also sent an email to Thando asking her when the payment would be processed. When I didn't get it by Tuesday 19 December I called their office and asked to speak to Thando. I asked her if she had seen the two emails I sent to her and she sarcastically rep****, "Was I in the office last week?" I then got very upset and told her that there was no need to be rude and that there was something called an out of office reply and delegation. She continued to laugh at me. When I had had enough of the back and forth I hung up seething in anger I decided to call and speak to a manager. She once again answered and told me she doesn't have a manager. I asked to speak to another agent who knew how to deal with customers. I was transferred to Susan, who helped me and apologised on this Thando's behalf. Susan even sent me a written promise that she had sent my account for payment.

This Thando girl is rude and disrespectful. I don't know whether it's because I'm black or female because she was very eager and nice towards my fiancé. If you are looking to have a long relationship with MPR, like I was, I suggest you insist that you are helped by anybody else other than Thando!
