We attended a company year-end function at Moyo Kirstenbosch last Friday evening, unfortunately, as load shedding kicked in .Wasn't a problem as the daylight lasted well past 19h30. The main course was served after 20h30 when the inside was dark but pleasantly lit with some decorative candles. However when the food was served in large bowls we couldn't see what we were eating, and all took turns using our cellphone flashes to light up the dishes. When we asked for better lighting the waiter brought us a few more tealights which were no help. We were astounded that a high profile tourist attraction with a Moyo restaurant had no plans in place to deal with load-shedding. Seriously Kirstenbosch and Moyo you need to get organised for the tourist season coming up. BTL Moyo has no plan for dining in load-shedding - how disappointing!
