below average food n bad service
Decided to try something different and come to moyo for our anniversary. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly but as the night progressed we experienced very long deplays with our drinks and meals. The restaurant was fairly quite for a Sunday. We both ordered non alcoholic ****tails which took forever to arrive, but we're up to standard. Our starters were also quiet lovely. This biggest problem was our mains n deserts. My 300g sirloin was so dry that I could not finish it. My wife's chicken potgie was pretty mediocre for the very high prices. We lastly received our deserts after some time, which were terrible. My Malva pudding was dry, it was more like a sponge cake n ice cream. My wife ordered the peppermint crisp cheese cake which she basically sc***** a few bites of the top. The cheese cake was too sour to be called a desert. I am very disappointed with my experience at moyo. Our bill came to R500, I would not call this a R500 experience, very much below average.
