EXCELLENT service at Mowbray Maternity

5-star care from MMH. It breaks my heart to see the mom's who have had subpar care at Mowbray Maternity. I had my daughter via C-Section on 22nd March 2020 after being transferred from my private hospital as we were paying privately and the care I received at Mowbray Maternity was even better than at the private facilities. I was in for 2 nights before my daughter was born, and another 3 nights (as is standard practice). In that time I received brilliant care from the nurses, doctors and everyone else involved. I was in a complete state of fear and the doctors personally came to my room to speak with me and explain my situation. Such care is almost unheard of these days, especially in a hospital as busy as MMH (this was also while National Lockdown was kicking in).

The only 2 negatives were that the bathrooms were a bit unkempt and when I was originally admitted I had to wait hours for a bed. However it is an incredibly busy government hospital and such things are to be expected.

I would absolutely 100% recommend Mowbray Maternity in the future.
