Personal items damaged by pure negligence
If only zero stars was an option..... AB Movers assisted with my move on 31 July, I can recommend them highly if what you want is for your possessions to be damaged and broken!! Two of my display cases were cracked and damaged by other items being packed and pushed against them - It was said to me, "we did put other items against them but we were careful." Just absolutely negligent and no respect for their client's possessions! When looking at the reviews, it can be seen that they regularly break and damage client's possessions and when this is raised, you are told, "you didn't take insurance with us"........ It is the responsibility of a moving company to have insurance against instances like this! A 'I don't care, it's not mine attitude!' The replacement of the two display cases costs R 5 800.00, I provided a quote to AB Movers (Maria and Danny) and I was merely told we will pay you R 1 500.00????? These display cases were in perfect condition before being destroyed by AB Movers' negligence. Prospective clients beware or be content with the fact that although when quoting and being reassured, "I will make sure your stuff gets moved safely", this is simply not the case and the staff of AB Movers will damage and break your possessions.
